The Global Skills Strategy introduced by CIC is helping those who are applying for work permits outside Canada. It is a faster process of two weeks on eligible work permit applications.

Its easier and just two step away process to work in Canada. Applicant (who is eligible) who is outside Canada must apply online. There are two different categories:

• Global Talent Stream (GTS): Category A or B falls under this, If an employer has a positive GTS, LMIA from ESDC for your position, being an applicant one has to mention about GTS LMIA.
• Applicants who are applying for an employer-specific work permit, or the employer who is exempt from LMIA. Skill type 0 or A offers so many occupations under this category.
